As a child, I was no stranger to sickness - frequent bronchitis, pneumonia, and countless rounds of antibiotics. By age 11, my tonsils were removed, yet inflammation and fatigue lingered.

 

Digestive issues, chronic fatigue, and painful cramping became the norm through my teens and into early adulthood.

​

Eventually, the antibiotics stopped working, and so did my hope in conventional medicine. That’s when I turned to naturopathic care and discovered the truth: I was allergic to dairy and sensitive to a host of common foods.

Removing them changed everything.

 

My health began to shift, and I experienced what felt like a miracle - no more antibiotics, no more illness.


My Story

But I wasn't always compliant with my health journey...

During my first pregnancy in 2004, I was put on bed rest due to intense back pain. I gained over 50 pounds, and our daughter was born overdue at just 5 lbs 10 oz.

 

Something wasn’t right. In 2005, after the birth of our second daughter, I was grieving the loss of my father and soon diagnosed with adrenal fatigue and Hashimoto’s.

​

Running a household and a business while my thyroid antibodies spiraled out of control left me depleted. I didn’t realize how much I had normalized the chaos - until I found myself trying to bring my laptop into an infrared sauna session.

 

I had become a workaholic.

​

In 2021, I took early retirement at 47.

 

I thought I had arrived at freedom, but quickly realized I didn’t want to stop working - I wanted to stop running.

That's when I began to shift into a life I didn't want to run from...

​

Since 2021, I’ve been on a spiritual journey - healing my gut, learning which foods serve me, cycling nature’s carbs, and practicing intermittent fasting.

 

I learned to fast in ways that restored my body from the inside out. I used a ketone-glucose monitor and found immense guidance from spiritual women leaders like Dr. Mindy Pelz.

​

Today, I’ve transitioned through peri-menopause symptom free. I feel vibrant, alive, and deeply aligned in mind, body, and spirit.

​

So why do I share all this with you?​ Because I know what it’s like to feel lost in your own body.

 

I’m still on a journey - as we all are.
